Professor Chandler asked students to show their research topics and discuss it among the classroom. For brief moments, students kept quiet, waiting to see which student will speak first. Mike volunteered his services by stating his research topic.
His topic was about comedians and what gets the public laughing and entertained. He has stated that some of his methods were to research comedians on video sites. The professor suggested that maybe he could go to comedy clubs t o get a more in depth look.
Professor Chandler continued her teaching while students continued to take enthographic notes. She asked the class for two methods in which Sarah gave the answer Discourse Analysis and Ethnography. The professor followed up by asking for more mehtods in which the students looked through their notebooks for the answer. After brief moments the answers were displayed as Surveys and interviewing. The question was raised to the class if everyone knew what a survey was and he professor made a joke considering silly surveys you would see on the internet.
The subject of research topics was back at hand. As student, curly hair and glasses spoke of his topic considering reading a book and watching the movie adaptation of it.
From then on it was hard to take notes and also pay attention to the current teachings. Ethnographic notes are not for me because it was hard to observe and also record every event that was happening continuously.
