I. Evaluating your final draft:  Use the rubric below (150)

Focus ( 40 out of 45): clear statement of the research question(s) + the importance of the research and what it shows
direct statements of what the data shows
set up any background information necessary for the reader to understand the focus
appropriate choice of research essays
data is connected to the focus/makes points with respect to the focus

Audience/genre (36 out of 40)
uses the correct forms for research essays
uses language the ways it is used in the sample research essays
draws authority from other research and the logic of the argument

Organization (27 out of 30)
data is presented in the right place
one idea leads logically to the next
definitions/data/categories  are presented and explained before they are "used" or referred to
uses headings + paragrphing in ways suitable for the material
each section develops the focus in a different way

Development (27 out of 30)
detailed examples from the data to support the points
says what the examples show
connects to the discussion of the research
develops an in-depth (not obvious) discussion of what the data show

Correctness ( 3 out of 5)
writing sufficiently clear so as not to confuse the meaning

II. Criteria: Data + analysis were listed on the assignment sheet as follows (200 points):

In terms of data and analysis I would give it 175 out of 200. I feel that due to extenuating circumstances I was not able to get all of the data and analyze as desired, however I feel that the data I did acquire satisfied the requirements and the rubric of the research. When in terms of completion I have been able to find enough data to explore my research question. What my data did was open up a new exploration of things that I could research in terms of my question and could broaden the perspective of what I was researching.

III.  Criteria for the Writing process were listed on the assignment sheet as follows (150 points):

            Blogs 16 through 29 show my writing process in a whole and how it started forming. My writing process was really easy when I had the data and I could make alterations to my paper. When in terms to revising, I felt that I did a significant job than my previous drafts before and writing and making conferences with the professor put me on the right track. I feel what I do need to work with is organization and placement of my information. I could make a great structure with ease, but it is how I put it together with all of my stuff to create a good paper. I feel that this paper receives a 140 out of 150 due to the information it relays and the the maturity in my writing throughout the blogs of making and creating a good research paper.
